What is the difference between ET Mensah’s style of music and Ampedu’s style?

What is the difference between ET Mensah’s style of music and Ampedu’s style? 

People think adding the Amponsah rhythm, kwaw and the rest makes it highlife .  Also , when you don’t use twi then it isn’t highlife. We should stop these things and rebrand this.

For me highlife is a general term used to represent all of Ghana’s Popular music. Some don’t even know Yaa Amposah was a song created from the krus’s rhythm and later  became the Yaa Amposah rhythm. 

The style of music that was named  highlife is the swing dance band songs ( ET Mensah and the tempos band , Ramblers, black beat) and we don’t even hear that kind of sound in today’s highlife. 

I know you will tell me  that highlife went through changes but you still criticize young musicians like kuami Eugene and even Shatta wale’s songs. I know my level was a big example because some people think it’s not highlife. Then again i ask what makes highlife (what is highlife)
