Mohbad Constant Affection For Highlife and Jazz Music.

Mohbad Constant Affection For Highlife  and Jazz Music... I love Highlife and Jazz/ Mohbad

This is my best Mohbad Song. It’s titled Sorry and I want you to listen to the lyrics. Firstly, I love Highlife and Jazz. From Ebenezer Obey, Victor Olaiya, ET Mensah to Osita Osadebey to all the Bini Legends of the past, I have them in my playlists! The infusion here of both genres in this song sparks nostalgia and reminiscent of Dr Orlando Owoh style of delivering his songs. That ‘deep dark brown’ voice of his is rare. Beautiful voice!!

Secondly, the message of the song. How his mum abandoned him and his siblings and how the dad picked up the pieces.  The dad made mistakes but whether he has a hand in it is what I am not sure of.

Thirdly, the message of apologies he conveyed to his parents and dad especially for what he may have put him thru and also appreciating the hardship the man went through to try to get him an education.  Nothing beats an apology like putting it into a song that will live forever!!
Mohbad’s life was a life not well spent because of all he went through. For all his hardship and hardwork, he never got to enjoy the harvest! I’m still wondering however how someone I never heard about while he was alive got to me so deep after his passing?? That’s because truly, you can not ignore a shiny light. Imole!!
