Demonstration against current GFA administration

Demonstration against current GFA administration, led by President Kurt Okraku by a group called Ghana Football Stakeholders Forum, led by Abraham Boakye ‘One man Supporter’ and Charles Ntim ‘Mickey Charles’. 

Note that the entire GFA secretariat is currently in Tamale for elections tomorrow. Okraku is contesting unopposed after his opponent, George Afriyie, was disqualified. 

The GFA are going ahead with the elections, despite Afriyie and another club, King Faisal,  filing separate applications for injunction seeking to halt the process. Both applications will be heard on October 12, 2023. 

Afriyie has also filed an appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport contesting his disqualification.
