Singing Of Book Of Condolences To Ga Manye

 


A delegation of Chiefs of the Ga Traditional Council led by Nii Dodoo Nsaki, Otublohum Mantse, Nii Kwao Donkor II,Asere Tsono Mantse,Nii Afotey Agbo, Regent of Katamanso and former Regional Minister of Accra, Ambassador Ayikoi Otoo,President of the Ga Dangme Council,the family of  Naa Dedei Omaedru III,led by the head of family,Members of the  Ga Paramount Dzaase and the Funeral Central Planning Committee as well as Officials of the Office of the Ga Mantse including the linguists of the Ga Mantse and the late Ga Mannye had a demarche yesterday with former President J.D.Mahama,NDC flag bearer for the 2024 elections accompanied by senior party officials. The NDC representatives were officially informed of the Royal transition of the Ga Mannye and burial rites to be held in October this year.

In the interim,  ex President Mahama was invited to sign a Book of Condolence together with his Spouse who was former First Lady, ahead of the funeral at the Ga Mantse’s Kaneshie Palace. The NDC leader accepted to do so shortly and conveyed deepest sympathies to the Traditional leaders and all the Ga Dangme people.

The visiting delegation made customary presentation to the hosts before departure and expressed the hope that all sympathizers would show love, respect and unity during the funeral to give the former Mannye a befitting farewell.
