3years ago, Medeama SC Striker Jonathan Sowah was a Beach Soccer player in Nungua, a suburb of the Greater Accra. He played football at the beach with no hopes until he got the opportunity to join Danboat FC and further to Medeama after scoring 34goals while at Danboat FC. 

At Medeama, he scored numerous goals and that won champion of champion’s trophy for the club. His immerse passion and contribution towards his football career and his stay with Medeama has earned him a call up to the Ghana Black Star football club.

The striker has joined the black stars for the first time in training to make his bebut for the national team in the Afcon qualifiers against the Central African Republic.
