Our President, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is focused on rebuilding our nation, as exemplified in his pledge to create an enabling environment for the private sector to thrive and fill the enormous gap in investment not only in infrastructure but also in critical sectors.
This is why, today, I was happy to join His Excellency at the commissioning of Electrochem Ghana Limited's Salt Mine and Processing Plant in Sege, Ada, which currently produces about 650,00 metric tons of salt per annum, and expanding its productive capacity to one million metric tons in 2024, and to two million metric tons by 2025.
When we embarked on this journey, we inherited a vision of what could be — a vision that saw the untapped potential of the Ada Songor salt concession.
From those early days, through the unwavering dedication, hard work, and collaboration of all staff and stakeholders, we have transformed that vision into a vibrant reality.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation for the steadfast support of the government, the unwavering dedication of our team, and the endearing spirit of the Ada community. Together, we have authored a story of transformation, and together, we will script the chapters of our future success.
