Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia Special Guest at the 2023 Ghana CEO Awards, which acknowledges and rewards the contributions of corporate executives and entrepreneurs, to the sustainable development  of our country.  

While underscoring the indispensable role of the private sector in promoting sustainable development and achieving the SDG's, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia also acknowledged the critical role of the public sector,  in providing an enabling environment for the private sector in areas of macro economic stability,  

unique national identification and address systems, financial inclusion through mobile money interoperability, domestic revenue mobilisation, and credit systems through credit scoring and so on.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia added up to that this is what we in government are very much engaged in; providing this enabling environment  for the private sector, largely using the digital tools available.
