 ALAN CASH RESIGNS

On Monday 25th September, 2023 presidential candidate aspirant for the NPP Alan Kyerematen expressed his gratitude through a press conference

and announced his honorable resignation from the new patriotic party contest for the office of the president of Ghana in the 2024 general election with immediate effect and will be contesting the presidency as an independent candidate. 

He explained his decision will not destroy the party but instead provide the party an opportunity to participate in a government of national unity in the future. 

Mr. Kyerematen in 2008 resigned from the party after losing to then presidential candidate Akuffo Addo.
