The body of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has finally been exhumed for autopsy.
Lagos State Police spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed the development via his X handle on Thursday.
The Lagos Police image maker wrote: “Exhumation completed. Autopsy to commence. #JusticeForMohad #Justice4Mohbad.”

Recall that few days ago, it was all over the news that Nigerian Afrobeats star, Mohbad has sadly passed away after a short illness.
Details of his death are still sketchy as of the time of this report.
Mohbad was born on June 6, 1998, and had in the past reportedly wanted to commit suicide according to his colleague Akinbiyi Abiola better known as Bella Shmurda.
Mohbad, who had been gaining recognition as a rising star in the Nigerian music scene, had crafted a unique musical style that blended elements of pop, Afrobeat, and hip-hop. His songwriting prowess and lyrical talent set him apart, making him a promising figure in the industry.
In 2022, Mohbad released his debut album, titled “Imole,” which quickly gained commercial success. The album spawned several chart-topping hits, including “See My Benz,” “Kimi,” and “Ronaldo,” further solidifying his place in the hearts of music enthusiasts.
