Dutch Coach to introduce world-famous ”total football” at Hearts of Oak

Dutch trainer Martin Koopman wants Hearts of Oak to “play like Holland” after they beating Nsoatremen to secure their first win of the season.

Kashala Ramos scored the only goal of the game as the Phobians recorded a 1-0 win that was also their first over Maxwell Konadu in as many matches.

Speaking at the post match interview, Koopman lifted the lid on his philosophy for the team; ”We want to play like Holland, attacking football and that must be possible and if you have to see the whole team this week, they are a little bit down.

”Because if you play your pre-season like that we did and you expect the next three points, it’s not going to happen.

”So I must put them on their legs again and give them the good feeling and I see that they stand up and they gave the first three points.” he added.

The Dutch trainer has superintended over one defeat – a 1-0 loss to RTU on the opening day, and one win – Sunday’s 1-0 win over Nsoatreman United.

Hearts of Oak travel to the Sunyani Coronation Park to play Premier League returnees Bofoakwa Tano this weekend.
